Curry, DeRozan Named Players Of The Week

Golden State Warriors PG Stephen Curry and Toronto Raptors SG DeMar DeRozan were named NBA Player of the Week for the Western and Eastern Conferences, respectively.

Both players lit up the league this week. Curry returned from an eleven-game absence to lead the Warriors to a 4-0 week.  Curry averaged 35.3 PPG, 6.7 RPG, and 5.3 APG while shooting 53.3% from the field. The two-time MVP also hit 28 threes during the week, including a game-winner against the Dallas Mavericks.

DeRozan earned his third Player of The Week award this week. He dropped a career-high 52 points on New Year’s Day versus the Milwaukee Bucks and averaged 35.7 PPG while shooting 55% from deep. The Raptors went 3-0 last week.
