James Harden To Support Meek Mill With Shoes Thursday

James Harden will use his shoes to show support for rapper Meek Mill.

Meek Mill real name Robert Rihmeek Williams is facing two to four years in jail for a probation violation. He’s since received support from some of the city’s sports people, including 76ers co-owner Michael Rubin, who raged against the judge that sentenced him, and center Joel Embiid, who visited Meek Mill in prison.

James Harden, who has also visited the rapper in jail as well, is reportedly planning to support Meek Mill this Thursday. According to Sports Illustrated’s Deantae Prince, Harden will take to the court Thursday against the Boston Celtics wearing black sneakers emblazoned with “Free Meek” in yellow lettering.

The shoes were created by Salvador “Kickstradomis” Amezcua, a Los Angeles native who was also responsible for a number of special edition Christmas sneakers for other NBA stars.
