Kings Fire Scouting Director Mike Bratz

The Sacramento Kings lost another front office man on Saturday after parting ways with Director of Scouting Mike Bratz. The move was first reported by Sean Cunningham of KXTV and later confirmed by the Kings. The team released this statement during Saturday’s win against the Nuggets.

“We agreed to part ways and appreciate all of his contributions to the Kings. We wish him nothing but the best.”

Bratz was hired in 2013 after stints with six NBA teams including the Nuggets, Cavaliers, and Clippers. He served as Director of Scouting, Sr. Advisor to the GM, Assistant GM, and Interim GM during his 5 years with the organization. Bratz also enjoyed a 9 year playing career for 6 different teams including the Kings, averaging 7 points and 3.2 assists a game.
