Lillard To Make Return Tuesday vs Cavs

Isaiah Thomas isn’t the only star PG returning on Tuesday night in Cleveland. Blazers PG Damian Lillard is set to return from his five-game absence versus the Cavaliers, according to ESPN’s Chris Haynes. Lillard missed the last five games due to a hamstring injury.

Without their star, the Blazers went 3-2 due to tremendous play from Lillard’s backcourt mate, C.J. McCollum, as well as back-up PG Shabazz Napier. RPG, and 6.4 APG in his sixth season in the league.

The Blazers are currently 19-17 and hold the sixth seed in the Western Conference. With Lillard back, the Blazers will be at full strength, looking to maintain their playoff position heading into the All-Star break.
