Lonzo Ball Cleared to Practice; Questionable for Wednesday

The highly talked about rookie point guard Lonzo Ball has recently been cleared to practice. Ball suffered a left shoulder sprain on December 23rd which ended up keeping him from participating in the last Lakers last five games, including their Christmas day game against the Timberwolves.

Despite being cleared to practice, Lonzo is still listed as questionable for the Lakers game against the Thunder on Wednesday. The Lakers have lost seven games in a row and now own the worst record in the Western Conference and the second-worst record in the NBA (Hawks 10-26). Lonzo Ball is their newest potential face of the franchise after he was selected second overall in the 2017 NBA draft, so do not be surprised if they take it easy with Ball and his shoulder injury. A left shoulder sprain does not seem like something that can be detrimental to a player’s long term health, but you can never be too careful with a talent like Ball.

Lonzo is averaging 10 PPG, 7.1 RPG, and 6.9 APG while shooting 34.9% from the field, 29.7% from beyond the arc, and 48% from the free throw line.

Should the Lakers rush Lonzo back? Comment why or why not below!
