All-NBA Teams Announced: LeBron James, James Harden, Russell Westbrook Headline The First Team

on

Earlier today, the NBA announced the recipients of the All-NBA teams of the season. The two frontrunners for MVP, James Harden (unanimous first team getter) and Russell Westbrook both were selected on the first team. LeBron James tied an NBA record with his 11th First Team selection of his career, joining Kobe Bryant and Karl Malone.

As you look through the list, you will see that Indiana Pacers forward Paul George did not make either team, meaning that he is not eligible for the designated player exception. Also, George missed out on a five-year contract extension with the Pacers worth roughly around $210 million.

George has expressed deep interest in going to the Los Angeles Lakers, whom just recently got the second pick in the upcoming draft. George was seen working out with Julius Randle, making the move even more possible.

Here is the complete list of all teams:

  • Russell Westbrook (Oklahoma City Thunder)
  • Kawhi Leonard (San Antonio Spurs)
  • LeBron James (Cleveland Cavaliers)
  • Anthony Davis (New Orleans Pelicans)

  • Isaiah Thomas (Boston Celtics)
  • Kevin Durant (Golden State Warriors)
