Warriors Look To End This Series With A Title

on

Game 5 is set back in Oracle Arena where the Warriors are focused on closing this series out. Of course we all know about the 3-1 deficit the Warriors lost last year, but this team is 10x’s better than last with the addition of Kevin Durant.

Speaking of; he was amazing in Game 1 and also game 2,3 and 4 so don’t expect him to be short of it in a potential championship game on his home court. His piercing shooting of 34 PPG on 52% shooting is inhuman and his game tonight should help lift the Warriors past the Cavs to claim a finals MVP.

The Cleveland Cavaliers shot the lights out last game with 24 3s making a new finals record that was just broken by the Warriors (18) in Game 2.

Last game was a showcase of the talents of LeBron James and Kyrie Irving, as they combined for 71 of the Cavs 137 points. Meanwhile, Stephen Curry didn’t have a Curry-esq game last game, with only 14 points on 4-13 shooting from the field, which shouldn’t be expected this game around with a close out being on his home floor.

The biggest difference of this Game 5 is Draymond Green will play this but he has to keep his cool for the sake of the team and if he wants to be a champion. Each of his 2nd fouls this series have come before the second half (3 in the 1Q). He has been under control for the most part so he should be okay on his home court.

Klay Thompson has come to life in this series to add more punching to the Warriors scoring. He should continue his defensive onslaught on Irving to help close this game, as well as the series.

Golden State had trouble with their sets last game, as their rotations and play calling were off. More minutes for Javale McGee should be seen as he has been a spark for Golden State all playoffs with his length and energy that brings the crowd to their feet. That should play a part for this game with the loudest arena in the NBA. “Roarcle” should rock tonight while fans are hoping for their second title in the last 3 years.
